Research Phase
Before writing a single line of code, our research agent studied Master Vision Pty Ltd — their current website, social presence, reviews, team, and services. Here's what stood out.
Master Vision Pty Ltd (ABN 79 127 191 100) is the parent company behind Eye Trend, registered in August 2007 — with a related entity 'Master Vision (Centro) Pty Ltd' (ACN 152417886) registered in 2011, likely for a specific shopping centre location
Eye Trend has grown from a single Whitehorse Road, Box Hill store to at least 5 locations across Melbourne: Box Hill Central, Burwood Brickworks, Eastland (Ringwood), Edgewater, and Maribyrnong — a significant expansion for an independent optometry chain
Stocks premium brands including Maui Jim, RAEN, Quay, agnès b., Jill Stuart sunglasses alongside ACUVUE contact lenses and ZEISS precision lenses, while offering bulk-billed eye tests through Medicare — bridging luxury eyewear with accessible healthcare
Design Phase
Every design decision was intentional — informed by the research, not pulled from a template library.
Visual Direction
A 6-page site with dedicated pages for eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses, built with 9 components across 2,044 lines of TSX. The bespoke vision-quiz interactive component lets visitors assess their eye health needs, while the marquee, testimonial-carousel, and image-gallery components create a fashion-forward retail feel matching Eye Trend's brand positioning.
Design Rationale
Eye Trend sits between big chains like Specsavers and single-practitioner independents, combining designer eyewear brands with professional eye care. The design needed to feel fashion-forward and trend-conscious (matching their emoji-rich, upbeat social media voice) while still communicating clinical credibility. The vision-quiz bridges both worlds — engaging retail browsers while educating them about eye health, driving them toward booking a bulk-billed examination.
Build Phase
Site Architecture
// Next.js App Router
Methodology
Spark (research agent) scraped Master Vision Pty Ltd's current website, Google reviews, social media, and business listings. Every piece of real data — team names, service pricing, business hours, unique details — was extracted into a structured profile.
Based on the research, a bespoke design direction was created specifically for Master Vision Pty Ltd. No templates — the typography, color palette, layout patterns, and visual effects were all chosen to match this business's personality and industry.
Pixel (design agent) built the entire 6-page Next.js application from scratch — 9 custom components, real content from the research phase, App Router with proper routing, and production-grade code.
Sentinel (QA agent) verified the build compiles cleanly, checked for placeholder content, validated all routes render correctly, and confirmed the design is unique (not recycled from another demo).
Additional Notes
Research covered 12 sources — the highest source count in this batch — including ABR Lookup (confirming ABN, registration date, and company structure), FindHealthClinics, FindGlocal directory for the Maribyrnong location, and social media posts revealing brand content, promotions, and charity involvement with the Eye Care Foundation. The eyetrend.com.au domain exists but was unreachable during research. Brave Search API quota was exhausted, so research relied on Yahoo Search, ABR Lookup, and directory scrapers. Data completeness rated medium.
