🏢 Lawn Care · Geelong, Melbourne
Geelong · Local Business
Research Phase
Before writing a single line of code, our research agent studied Lawn & Order - Special Gardens Unit — their current website, social presence, reviews, team, and services. Here's what stood out.
The business name is a direct play on 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' — a memorable branding choice for a Geelong gardening service that makes the business instantly recognisable
Operated by Vaughn, who has a 5-star rating on hipages with reviewers praising prompt service and strong communication — one client wrote 'Absolutely recommend Vaughn! prompt, efficient and really great work with our lawns'
Offers an unusual service combination for a gardening business: mowing, garden maintenance, and window washing bundled as a one-stop outdoor upkeep service for the Geelong region
Design Phase
Every design decision was intentional — informed by the research, not pulled from a template library.
Visual Direction
A 6-page site with dedicated pages for mowing, garden care, and landscaping, plus a BundleBuilder interactive component that lets visitors combine services. The 9-component build across 2,055 lines of TSX includes a Marquee, TestimonialCarousel, and Accordion for FAQ content, all tied together with Framer Motion animations.
Design Rationale
With no existing website and only a Facebook page for online presence, the design needed to establish professional credibility for an affordable, practical service. The BundleBuilder component directly reflects the business's one-stop positioning — letting visitors see how mowing, garden maintenance, and window washing can be combined, turning a simple service enquiry into a higher-value package.
Build Phase
Site Architecture
// Next.js App Router
Methodology
Spark (research agent) scraped Lawn & Order - Special Gardens Unit's current website, Google reviews, social media, and business listings. Every piece of real data — team names, service pricing, business hours, unique details — was extracted into a structured profile.
Based on the research, a bespoke design direction was created specifically for Lawn & Order - Special Gardens Unit. No templates — the typography, color palette, layout patterns, and visual effects were all chosen to match this business's personality and industry.
Pixel (design agent) built the entire 6-page Next.js application from scratch — 9 custom components, real content from the research phase, App Router with proper routing, and production-grade code.
Sentinel (QA agent) verified the build compiles cleanly, checked for placeholder content, validated all routes render correctly, and confirmed the design is unique (not recycled from another demo).
Additional Notes
Research covered 8 sources including the Facebook page (which provided business name, intro copy, phone, follower count, and services), Facebook reviews (Peter Cormie's recommendation), and the hipages profile showing 5-star rating, 2 recommendations, and 3 hires. No official website exists. Google Business profile could not be retrieved due to search API limits. Data completeness rated medium — service pricing not publicly listed.
