🏢 Lawn Care · Geelong, Melbourne
Lawn Mowing & Gardening Services for Geelong and surrounding areas
Research Phase
Before writing a single line of code, our research agent studied Jack's Lawn Mowing and Property Services — their current website, social presence, reviews, team, and services. Here's what stood out.
Operates entirely through Facebook with 1,360 likes and no website — using the handle 'Jackthemowman' which doubles as his email (Jackthemowman@gmail.com), building the brand entirely around Jack's personal identity
A sole-operator business competing against franchise brands like Jim's Mowing in the Geelong market — offering personal service from the owner himself rather than a rotating roster of contractors
Research revealed the business is based in Geelong, not Melbourne as originally listed — a correction caught during the data verification process that highlights the value of proper research
Design Phase
Every design decision was intentional — informed by the research, not pulled from a template library.
Visual Direction
A 6-page site with 9 components split across lawn mowing, garden care, and property maintenance pages. The bespoke Service Planner interactive component helps property owners scope their needs. The counter, marquee, and testimonial carousel add professionalism to what's currently a Facebook-only operation.
Design Rationale
Jack's business runs solely on Facebook, which limits discoverability and credibility against established competitors. The design elevates the 'Jackthemowman' personal brand into a professional web presence while preserving his casual, approachable tradie voice — giving him the local SEO presence that Facebook pages can't provide.
Build Phase
Site Architecture
// Next.js App Router
Methodology
Spark (research agent) scraped Jack's Lawn Mowing and Property Services's current website, Google reviews, social media, and business listings. Every piece of real data — team names, service pricing, business hours, unique details — was extracted into a structured profile.
Based on the research, a bespoke design direction was created specifically for Jack's Lawn Mowing and Property Services. No templates — the typography, color palette, layout patterns, and visual effects were all chosen to match this business's personality and industry.
Pixel (design agent) built the entire 6-page Next.js application from scratch — 9 custom components, real content from the research phase, App Router with proper routing, and production-grade code.
Sentinel (QA agent) verified the build compiles cleanly, checked for placeholder content, validated all routes render correctly, and confirmed the design is unique (not recycled from another demo).
Additional Notes
Research covered 6 sources using DuckDuckGo fallback after Brave Search API quota was exceeded. The Facebook page was found but couldn't be scraped directly. No website, directory listings, or accessible reviews were found outside Facebook. The business's Geelong location was confirmed, correcting an initial Melbourne listing. Data completeness rated low — only 3 services could be identified from the Facebook page description.
