Research Phase
Before writing a single line of code, our research agent studied Doquile Perrett Meade — their current website, social presence, reviews, team, and services. Here's what stood out.
A three-partner accounting firm in South Melbourne (VIC 3205) identified by the classic surname-convention naming — Doquile, Perrett, and Meade — but with almost zero public digital footprint despite operating in a professional services industry
Research across 7 sources found no website (doquileperrettmeade.com.au and dpm.com.au both failed — the latter belongs to 'DPM Financial Services for doctors', an entirely different firm), no directory listings, and no ABR data accessible
The build produced 1,360 TSX lines across 8 routes and 8 named components, with dedicated pages for each core accounting service area.
Design Phase
Every design decision was intentional — informed by the research, not pulled from a template library.
Visual Direction
Built with 1,360 TSX lines across Next.js 15 with Tailwind CSS v4 and Framer Motion, the site targets the core needs of an accounting firm: establishing credibility for a three-partner practice, presenting service areas (tax, advisory, financial reporting, BAS/GST, SMSF), and providing a professional contact pathway through a multi-page structure.
Design Rationale
Doquile Perrett Meade has no website and no findable digital presence — yet accounting firms live and die by trust and referrals. The design establishes the baseline digital credibility that a three-partner South Melbourne practice needs: partner profiles, service descriptions, and professional contact information. With all service data inferred from industry standards rather than verified sources, the design takes a conservative, expandable approach.

Methodology
Spark (research agent) scraped Doquile Perrett Meade's current website, Google reviews, social media, and business listings. Every piece of real data — team names, service pricing, business hours, unique details — was extracted into a structured profile.
Based on the research, a bespoke design direction was created specifically for Doquile Perrett Meade. No templates — the typography, color palette, layout patterns, and visual effects were all chosen to match this business's personality and industry.
Pixel (design agent) built the entire 8-page Next.js application from scratch — 8 custom components, real content from the research phase, App Router with proper routing, and production-grade code.
Sentinel (QA agent) verified the build compiles cleanly, checked for placeholder content, validated all routes render correctly, and confirmed the design is unique (not recycled from another demo).
Additional Notes
Research checked 7 sources but achieved low data completeness — the lowest verified data yield alongside Doctors Coburg North. No website was found at any tested domain. Google and Bing blocked with CAPTCHAs, Yellow Pages and TrueLocal were behind Cloudflare, and ABR lookup returned 404. A notable dead-end: dpm.com.au belongs to a completely different firm (DPM Financial Services for doctors). All service categories were inferred from industry norms rather than verified business data.
More from the experiment
This case study is part of the AI Web Lab — a 30-day experiment where AI agents build bespoke websites for real Melbourne businesses. Every site is researched, designed, and built from scratch by a team of five specialist AI agents. The full methodology, code, and results are documented transparently.
This study is being prepared for publication as part of a research paper on AI-assisted web development at scale.
