Research Phase
Before writing a single line of code, our research agent studied Bodysharp Group Personal Training — their current website, social presence, reviews, team, and services. Here's what stood out.
Operates 50+ sessions per week across Camberwell and Glen Iris — with separate male and female sessions for both beginners and advanced levels, a structure rarely seen in group fitness
Endorsed by physiotherapists: a TrueLocal review from a practicing physiotherapist states they recommend patients join Bodysharp for its flexible, no-joining-fee membership and varied training sessions (5/5 rating from 5 TrueLocal reviews)
Runs dedicated running groups preparing members for major Melbourne events including Run For The Kids and the Melbourne Marathon, covering distances from 5km to full marathon
Design Phase
Every design decision was intentional — informed by the research, not pulled from a template library.
Visual Direction
A 6-page site built around energy and movement, with a FitnessGoalMatcher interactive component that helps visitors identify the right session type (Strength & Tone, Boxing, Running, or Bootcamp). Counter animations highlight key stats, while a testimonial carousel and image gallery showcase the outdoor training atmosphere across 1,863 lines of custom TSX.
Design Rationale
Bodysharp's core positioning is anti-gym — they exist for people frustrated by impersonal gym memberships. The design needed to immediately communicate variety, flexibility, and community rather than chrome-and-mirrors gym aesthetics. The FitnessGoalMatcher directly addresses the decision paralysis a newcomer faces when choosing between 50+ weekly sessions across multiple formats and locations.
Build Phase
Site Architecture
// Next.js App Router
Methodology
Spark (research agent) scraped Bodysharp Group Personal Training's current website, Google reviews, social media, and business listings. Every piece of real data — team names, service pricing, business hours, unique details — was extracted into a structured profile.
Based on the research, a bespoke design direction was created specifically for Bodysharp Group Personal Training. No templates — the typography, color palette, layout patterns, and visual effects were all chosen to match this business's personality and industry.
Pixel (design agent) built the entire 6-page Next.js application from scratch — 9 custom components, real content from the research phase, App Router with proper routing, and production-grade code.
Sentinel (QA agent) verified the build compiles cleanly, checked for placeholder content, validated all routes render correctly, and confirmed the design is unique (not recycled from another demo).
Additional Notes
Research drew from 6 sources including TrueLocal listings (via Yahoo Search snippets), Yelp directory data, and ABN records. The official domain bodysharp.com.au exists but has no active website content, making directory listings the primary data source. Facebook and Instagram were blocked by login walls, and TrueLocal was blocked by Cloudflare, limiting review extraction. Data completeness rated low.
