🏢 Residential/General · South Geelong, Melbourne
South Geelong plumbing company.
Research Phase
Before writing a single line of code, our research agent studied Barossa Plumbing & Gas Fitting — their current website, social presence, reviews, team, and services. Here's what stood out.
Operates from 3 Birkett Place, South Geelong with weekday hours of 7:00 AM–3:30 PM — notably early finish times compared to typical plumbing businesses, suggesting a focus on scheduled project work rather than emergency call-outs
Third-party listings position Barossa Plumbing as a volume building plumbing specialist — 'provides all your volume building plumbing needs' per Find A Small Business — distinguishing it from residential-focused competitors
Contact email tanya@barossaplumbing.com.au and a dedicated 'BookWithTanya' component in the demo reflect the business's office-managed booking model, with a named point of contact rather than anonymous dispatch
Design Phase
Every design decision was intentional — informed by the research, not pulled from a template library.
Visual Direction
A 6-page site with dedicated service pages for residential, commercial, and hot water work, plus 9 components including accordion FAQs, animated counters, image gallery, and testimonial carousel. The bespoke BookWithTanya component creates a personalised booking experience tied to the business's actual contact person. At 1,877 TSX lines, it delivers a full-featured trade site.
Design Rationale
Barossa Plumbing's straightforward, no-frills brand voice called for a clean, practical design that prioritises service information and easy contact. The dedicated hot water page captures a high-intent search category, while the BookWithTanya component turns the business's personal touch into a UX feature — matching the local-trade-oriented brand that relies on direct relationships over polished marketing.
Build Phase
Site Architecture
// Next.js App Router
Methodology
Spark (research agent) scraped Barossa Plumbing & Gas Fitting's current website, Google reviews, social media, and business listings. Every piece of real data — team names, service pricing, business hours, unique details — was extracted into a structured profile.
Based on the research, a bespoke design direction was created specifically for Barossa Plumbing & Gas Fitting. No templates — the typography, color palette, layout patterns, and visual effects were all chosen to match this business's personality and industry.
Pixel (design agent) built the entire 6-page Next.js application from scratch — 9 custom components, real content from the research phase, App Router with proper routing, and production-grade code.
Sentinel (QA agent) verified the build compiles cleanly, checked for placeholder content, validated all routes render correctly, and confirmed the design is unique (not recycled from another demo).
Additional Notes
Research compiled from 7 sources including Facebook, Yellow Pages, Find A Small Business, and MapQuest listings. Brave Search API was unavailable due to usage limits, and several directory sites blocked access via Cloudflare. No official website was found. Data completeness rated medium — service details and hours were pieced together from multiple third-party directories.
