Research Phase
Before writing a single line of code, our research agent studied Cash & Stavroulakis Lawyers — their current website, social presence, reviews, team, and services. Here's what stood out.
A traditional Melbourne CBD law partnership with principal names in the firm title — research across 7 sources including DuckDuckGo, Google, Bing, Yellow Pages, and a direct check of cashstavroulakis.com.au (DNS not found) returned virtually zero online presence
The firm's near-invisible digital footprint is characteristic of small, established Melbourne CBD law partnerships that operate primarily on referral networks and repeat client relationships rather than online marketing
Named after principals Peter H Cash and Con Stavroulakis (inferred from firm name), suggesting a traditional partnership structure common among Melbourne's long-standing suburban and CBD legal practices
Design Phase
Every design decision was intentional — informed by the research, not pulled from a template library.
Visual Direction
A 6-page site with a DocumentChecklist interactive component, structured client process flow, team profiles, practice area cards, and contact form. The design uses professional section headings, a hero section, and clean card-based layouts to bring structure to a firm with no existing digital presence.
Design Rationale
Cash & Stavroulakis has no website, no directory listings, and no findable online footprint — yet operates from the Melbourne CBD where clients increasingly expect to verify a firm online before engaging. The demo provides that verification layer: team credentials, practice area clarity, and a structured client process that demystifies the legal engagement workflow for first-time clients.
Build Phase
Site Architecture
// Next.js App Router
Methodology
Spark (research agent) scraped Cash & Stavroulakis Lawyers's current website, Google reviews, social media, and business listings. Every piece of real data — team names, service pricing, business hours, unique details — was extracted into a structured profile.
Based on the research, a bespoke design direction was created specifically for Cash & Stavroulakis Lawyers. No templates — the typography, color palette, layout patterns, and visual effects were all chosen to match this business's personality and industry.
Pixel (design agent) built the entire 6-page Next.js application from scratch — 9 custom components, real content from the research phase, App Router with proper routing, and production-grade code.
Sentinel (QA agent) verified the build compiles cleanly, checked for placeholder content, validated all routes render correctly, and confirmed the design is unique (not recycled from another demo).
Additional Notes
Research attempted 7 sources including DuckDuckGo, Google, Bing (all blocked by CAPTCHAs), Yellow Pages (Cloudflare blocked), Law Society registries, and a direct DNS check of cashstavroulakis.com.au (not found). Data completeness was low — the firm appears to have minimal digital footprint, common for small traditional Melbourne CBD law firms. Principal name Peter H Cash was confirmed from the prospect brief; Con Stavroulakis was inferred from the firm name.
More from the experiment
This case study is part of the AI Web Lab — a 30-day experiment where AI agents build bespoke websites for real Melbourne businesses. Every site is researched, designed, and built from scratch by a team of five specialist AI agents. The full methodology, code, and results are documented transparently.
This study is being prepared for publication as part of a research paper on AI-assisted web development at scale.
