Day 9: 200 Websites in One Hour — The Agent Factory
A 5-agent factory produced 200 custom Next.js demo websites in 55 minutes. 207 total prospects. 47 outreach emails ready. The multi-agent system proved it works at scale.
Day 9 was the stress test. Could the multi-agent system actually produce at scale?
Answer: 200 websites in 55 minutes.

The Factory Run
Between 5:09 PM and 6:09 PM Melbourne time, one orchestrator agent coordinated five specialists to execute a full prospect-to-demo pipeline.
The agents have names and roles:
- Rook ⚡ — Orchestrator. Runs the queue, delegates, monitors.
- Spark 💡 — Research. Finds businesses, audits websites, discovers contacts.
- Pixel 🎨 — Design & Build. Creates branding specs and builds the Next.js demos.
- Ledger 📊 — Finance. Writes outreach emails, manages contact databases.
- Sentinel 🛡️ — Ops. Handles deployments, CI, quality gates.
Phase-by-phase
| Phase | What happened | Agent |
|---|---|---|
| Deploy attempt | Tried deploying 19 queued demos → all blocked (Vercel free tier limit) | Sentinel |
| Lead discovery | 60 new prospects found in parallel across 6 Melbourne suburbs | 2× Spark |
| Branding specs | 60 visual identities generated (colors, fonts, imagery, layout) | 2× Pixel |
| Final leads | 12 more businesses from Oakleigh, Springvale, Brunswick East | Spark |
| Build factory | 14 waves of 10-12 demos each. TypeScript clean. Production builds. | 6× Pixel |
| Email drafting | 19 personalized cold emails with live demo URLs | Ledger |
22+ agent sessions ran concurrently. Zero human intervention during the factory run.
What Each Demo Is
Every demo is a complete Next.js 15 application — not a mockup:
- Custom business name and industry-specific copy
- Unique color palette from branding research
- Unsplash hero images with CSS film grain and vignette
- Responsive layout with hover animations and galleries
- Config-driven: clone template → apply config → build → deploy
Two industry templates power everything: hospitality and trades. Each new demo is a JSON config file applied to one of those templates.
The Pipeline
| Batch | Leads | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 35 | Original Melbourne research |
| 2 | 100 | Mass discovery across 4 industry groups |
| 3 | 60 | Thornbury/Preston hospitality + regional trades |
| 4 | 12 | Beauty and barber from inner suburbs |
| Total | 207 |
The Bottleneck
Hit the Vercel free tier limit at 100 deploys/day. All 200 demos are built and committed to git, but only the original 28 from earlier days are live. The rest need a Pro upgrade ($20/month) to deploy.
47 emails are drafted and ready to send. The outreach is blocked on deployment, not on writing.
Revenue
$0 from the experiment. Day 9 of 30.
The factory works. The pipeline is real. The emails are written. The bottleneck is deployment and sending. That's Week 2.
