1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Resolution Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Resolution Tracker is a goal-tracking and productivity application that helps users:
- Set and track New Year's resolutions and goals
- Break goals into actionable steps
- Log daily progress
- Earn experience points (XP) and badges through gamification
- Maintain streaks for consistency
3. Account Registration
3.1 Sign in with Apple
The App uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. By signing in, you authorize us to access your Apple ID information as permitted by Apple's terms.
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account.
4. Subscription Terms
4.1 Free Tier
The App offers a free tier with the following limitations:
- Maximum of 1 active resolution
- Basic features only
4.2 Premium Subscription
Premium subscription includes:
- Unlimited resolutions
- Advanced statistics and insights
- Priority support
- All future premium features
4.3 Pricing
- Weekly Premium: $4.99 USD per week
- Yearly Premium: $29.99 USD per year (best value)
Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Current pricing is always displayed in the App before purchase.
4.4 Billing
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- Renewal price equals the current subscription price
4.5 Free Trials
- If offered, free trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when purchasing a subscription
4.6 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
- To cancel: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Resolution Tracker > Cancel Subscription
4.7 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's refund process at https://reportaproblem.apple.com
5. User Content
5.1 Your Data
You retain ownership of all content you create in the App, including:
- Resolutions and goals
- Steps and progress entries
- Notes and reflections
5.2 License to Us
By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
5.3 Content Guidelines
You agree not to use the App to store or transmit:
- Illegal content
- Content that infringes on others' rights
- Malicious code or harmful content
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Rights
The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Amir Brooks and protected by intellectual property laws.
6.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Data Sync and Storage
7.1 Cloud Sync
The App uses Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to sync and backup your data across your devices. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account.
7.2 Data Loss
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we are not liable for data loss. We recommend maintaining your own backups of important information.
8. Disclaimers
8.1 "As Is" Service
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
8.2 No Guarantee
We do not guarantee that the App will:
- Meet your specific requirements
- Be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
- Produce any particular results
8.3 Health Disclaimer
The App is not a substitute for professional advice. Consult appropriate professionals for health, financial, or other significant life decisions.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account through the App settings.
11.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
