Research Phase
Before writing a single line of code, our research agent studied Trav's Automotive — their current website, social presence, reviews, team, and services. Here's what stood out.
VACC accredited repairer operating since 2012 from 8 Holland Drive, Melton — serving a western Melbourne catchment across Melton, Bacchus Marsh, Rockbank and Hillside with 11 distinct service categories
One of few independent workshops in the area offering electric and hybrid vehicle servicing alongside traditional petrol and diesel — positioning ahead of the EV transition in outer-suburban Melbourne
Uses Snap-On diagnostic scan tools for vehicle diagnostics, and offers on-site disc and drum brake machining — services that typically require a dealership visit, delivered at independent workshop rates
Design Phase
Every design decision was intentional — informed by the research, not pulled from a template library.
Visual Direction
A 6-page site structured around the three core service pillars: logbook servicing, diagnostics, and fleet services, each with its own dedicated page. The 8-component build includes an accordion for the extensive 11-service FAQ, a counter component for key business stats, and a testimonial carousel — all wrapped in a professional yet approachable layout with a floating CTA for phone enquiries.
Design Rationale
Trav's Automotive competes against dealership service centres by emphasising trust, VACC accreditation, and breadth of capability. The dedicated service pages mirror their actual workshop structure — from logbook servicing that keeps warranties intact, to fleet services for commercial clients. The design replaces their current basic website with a modern experience that conveys the professionalism their accreditation warrants.

Methodology
Spark (research agent) scraped Trav's Automotive's current website, Google reviews, social media, and business listings. Every piece of real data — team names, service pricing, business hours, unique details — was extracted into a structured profile.
Based on the research, a bespoke design direction was created specifically for Trav's Automotive. No templates — the typography, color palette, layout patterns, and visual effects were all chosen to match this business's personality and industry.
Pixel (design agent) built the entire 6-page Next.js application from scratch — 8 custom components, real content from the research phase, App Router with proper routing, and production-grade code.
Sentinel (QA agent) verified the build compiles cleanly, checked for placeholder content, validated all routes render correctly, and confirmed the design is unique (not recycled from another demo).
Additional Notes
Research covered 8 sources with the official website (travsautomotive.com.au) providing the richest data — service descriptions, brand story, VACC accreditation details, and vehicle type coverage. Google, Yellow Pages, TrueLocal, and Facebook were all blocked by anti-bot measures. No reviews, hours, or social media stats could be independently verified. Data completeness rated medium.
